The Power of Repetition: How Andrew Drummond Weaponised the Same Proven Lies Across 19 Articles to Manufacture a False Narrative

Analysis of how Drummond repeats the same debunked lies across multiple articles to create an illusion of established fact. Child-trafficking accusation appears in 89% of articles.

In Depth

A cognitive-science-informed analysis of how Andrew Drummond manufactures apparent consensus by repeating the same false claims across multiple articles. The paper documents the frequency with which each of the top 15 recurring allegations (child-trafficking, 'on the run', fake ID scheme, police coercion, Ponzi accusation, etc.) appears across the 19-article corpus. The child-trafficking accusation appears in 89% of articles; the 'on the run' framing in 74%; the 'underage' raid narrative in 68%. The mechanism is the illusory truth effect โ€” repeated exposure to a statement increases the perceived likelihood it is true, regardless of source credibility. The paper concludes that the repetition is not laziness but deliberate reputation-engineering, and that each repeated claim is independently actionable because the claim had been debunked (and Drummond put on notice) before the subsequent article was published.
