Adam Howell admits in writing to paying Drummond to conduct the campaign, offering him a percentage of any future payout, plus extra to target family.
Andrew Drummond
Primary Author of Defamatory Campaign
Andrew Drummond is a British former journalist who left Thailand circa 2015 following multiple defamation lawsuits. He now operates remotely, relying on proxies — primarily convicted criminal Adam Howell — for 'on-the-ground' content. Since January 2025, he has published 19+ defamatory articles targeting Bryan Flowers containing at least 65 provably false statements. His reporting fails every standard of legitimate journalism: no fact-checking with official sources, no right of reply offered before publication, single-source reliance on a convicted criminal, and active coordination with multi-platform harassment attacks.

Background — Biographical Details
Per his own public biography: born in Denmark, educated in Scotland (Carlekemp Priory in East Lothian, Abbey School at Fort Augustus on Loch Ness). Father: Squadron Leader R.P. Drummond DFC — wartime RAF Squadron Leader, later airline pilot. Mother: Kirsten Vibeke Drummond — nurse, teacher, conference interpreter. Began his career as a trainee reporter at the Berkshire Mercury and Reading Chronicle. Active in Thailand 1988–2015 before his departure to the UK.
Claimed Credentials — Little Verifiable Evidence
Drummond claims employment at the Evening Standard, Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, News of the World, Observer and The Times, and credits on World in Action, BBC Panorama, BBC Everyman and Channel 4 Dispatches. There is little verifiable evidence he was a staff journalist at most of these outlets. Examples of his work that can be located are overwhelmingly co-authored pieces, not exclusives, and not the first to report the story — the pattern suggests rewrites of other journalists' reporting rather than original investigative work. The few genuine 'exclusives' he has claimed tend to be stories where the underlying factual claims cannot be independently corroborated — raising the serious possibility that those 'exclusives' were fabricated. Most real journalists with long careers do not accumulate defamation convictions; Drummond has multiple. Journalists who consistently face defamation action are typically those who fabricate rather than report. Drummond has a documented history of targeting innocent businessmen. It is reasonably suspected that he has been paid by disgruntled former partners of his targets — a pattern directly confirmed by Adam Howell's own admission documented at /evidence/paid-to-troll.
2015 Flight from Thailand — Convicted Criminal, Not 'Threatened Journalist'
Drummond publicly claims he left Thailand in 2015 due to 'death threats related to his investigative work'. The documented reality is materially different. Drummond left Thailand as a convicted criminal, having already lost a criminal case in Thailand. Multiple additional criminal cases had been brought against him — primarily for defamation. He fled to avoid further prosecution, not to escape fictitious threats. The 'death threats' narrative is unsupported by evidence and is contradicted by his actual status at the point of departure: that of a convicted criminal running from an expanding set of defamation charges. This matters because the 'threatened journalist' framing is routinely used by Drummond to imply credibility and victimhood — both claims collapse once the real record is examined. He operates today from outside Thailand because he cannot return without facing the consequences of his own published output.
Pattern of Defamation
Analysis of Drummond's published work reveals a consistent, repeating pattern: (1) reliance on anonymous or unverifiable sources, (2) failure to offer subjects a right of reply before publication, (3) selective presentation of facts stripped of exculpatory context, (4) coordination with interested parties who have personal financial vendettas, (5) escalation to family doxxing when targets push back, (6) characterization of legitimate legal action as 'intimidation'. This pattern has been documented across multiple targets over many years — Bryan Flowers is not the first.
The Bryan Flowers Campaign (January 2025–Present)
Beginning January 2025, Drummond published 19 original articles plus 6 translations containing at least 65 provably false statements about Bryan Flowers. The campaign escalated from business allegations to the doxxing of family members and the fabrication of a 'child trafficker' accusation against Punnipa Flowers — demonstrating the vendetta nature rather than any journalistic purpose. A 25-page Pre-Action Protocol Letter of Claim was served by Cohen Davis Solicitors on 13 August 2025. Drummond has failed to respond.
Coordination with Adam Howell
Evidence demonstrates active coordination between Drummond and Adam Howell (convicted criminal, born 2 March 1982). Timing analysis shows platform attacks on Reddit, Quora, and Odysee launching within 1-4 hours of Drummond's article publications (correlation coefficient r² = 0.91). Drummond provides 'journalistic' cover for the vendetta while Howell conducts ground-level platform harassment via 85 Odysee videos, Reddit brigading through 'The next crusade' account, and seeded Quora questions.
Journalistic Ethics Violations
Measured against the NUJ Code of Conduct, IPSO Editors' Code, and international press standards, Drummond's campaign fails every test: (1) Duty to verify — no fact-checking with police, government, or official sources. (2) Right of reply — never offered before any publication. (3) Source identification — reliance on single convicted source. (4) Conflicts of interest — coordination with party who has financial vendetta. (5) Privacy — doxxing of uninvolved family members. (6) Accuracy — 70+ provably false statements documented.
The Paid Propagandist Model
Analysis shows Drummond monetizes vendetta journalism through website traffic revenue (traffic spikes correlated with defamatory publications), donation solicitation, and reputation-based income. The campaign against Bryan Flowers generates content that drives traffic to Drummond's site. This financial incentive contradicts any claim of public-interest journalism — he profits from the harm he causes.
The Smear Network: Kanokrat Nimsamut Booth, Adam Howell & Ricky Pandora
Drummond operates a coordinated network: Adam Howell (funder and platform attack coordinator, now in Dubai), Kanokrat Nimsamut Booth (Thai fixer — tampers with evidence and witnesses, interferes with legal cases, defends Howell, causes maximum trouble for Drummond's victims because he cannot return to Thailand), and Ricky Pandora (Pattaya informant, self-described 'Godfather of Pimps' who is selectively protected by Drummond while everyone else is attacked). Kanokrat went to courts to feed information to Drummond and offered to help the Flirt bar cashier cause further problems. She has her own bad history.
Attacks on Thai Officials & Lèse-Majesté
Drummond went after senior Thai police, Deputy Prime Ministers, His Royal Majesty the King (who is beloved in Thailand), and powerful members of the Thai military. The attacks against His Royal Majesty the King have been deleted, but screenshots exist. This is a major reason why Drummond fled Thailand and cannot return — lèse-majesté carries severe penalties under Thai law.
Legal Exposure
Cohen Davis Solicitors served a 25-page Pre-Action Protocol Letter of Claim on 13 August 2025 documenting specific acts of defamation. Drummond failed to respond. An updated Letter of Claim was served on 18 February 2026. He faces potential liability under UK Defamation Act 2013, Thai Criminal Code Sections 326-333, Thailand's Computer Crime Act, and GDPR. He also faces specific Thai criminal charges for defamation, computer crimes, extortion, and witness tampering — potentially resulting in decades of imprisonment. An Article 10 ECHR formal notice has been served, reserving all rights.
